About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining premium WordPress plugins and themes that serve thousands of customers worldwide.

As a senior member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to shape our technical direction, mentor junior developers, and work on challenging problems that impact real businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress plugins and themes following best practices
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in PHP, JavaScript, and CSS
Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement new features
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
Optimize plugin performance and ensure compatibility across WordPress versions
Debug and resolve technical issues reported by customers
Stay updated with WordPress ecosystem and contribute to technical decisions

Requirements

5+ years of professional WordPress development experience
Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Strong understanding of WordPress APIs, hooks, and architecture
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js preferred)
Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative workflows
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Nice to Have

Experience with WooCommerce development
Knowledge of WordPress Gutenberg block development
Contributions to open-source WordPress projects
Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Jest)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
